Learn how to prepare for labor, birth and early parenthood in a class with other expectant parents. Over the course of 6 weeks, we will be discussing and practicing body conditioning, relaxation and breathing techniques along with:
- Discomfort and warning signs
- Postpartum
- Medications and hospital procedures
- Labor and delivery
- Newborns
- Cesarean birth
- Breastfeeding
Whether you are expecting your 1st baby or 3rd, the Childbirth & Parent Education Classes will help you get ready for a memorable birth experience.
Classes will be located in Conference Rooms B & C on the 1st floor of Wilcox Memorial Hospital, Tuesday nights, 6:00pm-8:30pm. Cost is $100 for 6-week series.
