Breastfeeding your newborn baby is a very special experience. In this class, you will learn about the advantages of nursing your baby as well as prenatal preparation, breastfeeding equipment and supplies, and the specific techniques that will help promote successful breastfeeding. Our lactation counselor will provide one-to-one assistance focused on getting your breastfeeding experience off to a great start. Moms, dads, grandparents, and babies are welcome to attend.

Celebration honorary chairperson, Pam Wilcox Dohrman, invites the community to the Nurses Week Celebration Luncheon to honor a very special woman, Josephine Duvauchelle, a retired registered nurse and college instructor who dedicated her career to nursing education.
The event is sponsored by the Kauai Community College and Wilcox Health Foundation. All proceeds go to the Mabel I. Wilcox Nursing Scholarship Fund to help nursing students attending the Kauai Community College Nursing Program.

| Save the date! Chair of the event is Richard Goodale, MD, also chair of the Wilcox Health Foundation. Special entertainment will include a Polynesian Extravaganza featuring the doctors and nurses of Wilcox Health. Silent Auction and some wonderful surprises will help raise funds for Wilcox Memorial Hospital's Women's Health Center.
