The Infusion Center

The Infusion Center at Wilcox Memorial Hospital offers full-service outpatient infusion care in a five-star setting of elegance and tranquility. Located at the main entrance of the hospital, there is plenty of parking with easy access to the facility. With compassion for you and your loved ones, we strive to make each visit comfortable. Our 10-station, state-of-the-art facility provides a relaxed, home-like setting with natural warming light coming through an oversized window. You can choose a communal or private seating, which includes customized reclining chairs equipped with massage and heating units that you can control. Enclosed in each space is your own television offering cable or educational and health programming. You may also request Healing Touch from our experienced volunteers while you are receiving your infusion. It is our goal to provide you with the highest-quality care in a stress-free, healing environment.

About Us

The Infusion Center has a team of professionals who are highly trained to care for you and to coordinate medical care with primary care physicians, oncologists, nurses, and community resources. Our staff members have acquired advanced certifications in oncology and/or palliative support. They are here to assist in navigating your course of treatment and addressing your concerns.

The facility is a generous gift from the David Walters family of Kauai. It was designed and built for the comfort and healing of all patients by the late David Walters and dedicated in November 2009.

Our facility is equipped to offer outpatient infusion services that include but are not limited to:

• Chemotherapy
• Palliative Care

Other Services

• Blood/Platelet Transfusions
• IV Infusions of: IV antibiotics, Albumin, Iron, Remicaide, Reclast, IVIG, IV Hydration
• Phlebotomy

Scheduling

The Infusion Services Department is open Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. To schedule an appointment, please contact your primary care provider or oncologist.
