Kauai Ohana Crafters Donate 150 Baby Beanie Hats for Wilcox Newborns
04/03/09
LIHUE, KAUAI. On Saturday, March 20, The Kauai Ohana Crafters presented 150 handmade baby beanie hats for the newborns at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, an affiliate of Hawaii Pacific Health. Accepting the beanies was Wilcox Health Foundation’s Director of Philanthropy, Jill Lowry.
Lowry expressed, "It is through the continued generosity of the Kauai Community and gifts of the heart such as these, that keeps Wilcox Health the strong health care facility it is. What better way for a new human being to begin his or her path in the world, than to leave Wilcox Health wearing a hat made with love."
