Kauai Rotary presents Humanitarian Awards to Wilcox Employees

The Rotary Club of Kauai, lead by Dr. Tyler Chihara (Kauai Medical Clinic Podiatrist at the Bone and Joint Center), selected Wendy Yamaguchi, RN, from the Wilcox Hospital Same Day Surgery to receive the 2009 Humanitarian Award in Healthcare. The Rotary Club of Hanalei, lead by Dr. Jeff Goodman selected Dr. Montague Downs (Kauai Medical Clinic/Wilcox ER physician), to receive the 2009 Humanitarian Award in Water Safety. Awards were presented to both Dr. Monty Downs and Wendy Yamaguchi, RN at a ceremony held at the Hilton on March 5, 2009.
