Nena Cardoso, CCE, CLS has joined the hospital's Women and Infants' Center staff, offering childbirth and parent education classes as well as breastfeeding classes and support groups. Learn how to prepare for labor, birth and early parenthood in a class with other expectant parents.

Dr. Pixler Returns to KMC

Please join us in welcoming back board certified Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Mary Pixler, to the medical staff of Kauai Medical Clinic and Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Before initially joining Kauai Medical Clinic in 1993, she worked in Kutztown, Pennsylvania in a hospital-owned satellite outpatient clinic. She returns now to Kauai Medical Clinic after 5 years of private practice in Kalaheo. Dr. Pixler is available to see patients at the main clinic in Lihue. Her office is located on the 2nd floor. Vidinha Award $108,385

Trustees of the Antone & Edene Vidinha Charitable Trust recently awarded Wilcox Health Foundation $108,385 to be used toward the purchase of a digital mammography unit for the Wilcox Family Imaging Center at the hospital. Dr. Cohen Joins KMC

Please join us in welcoming board certified Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Peter J. Cohen, to the medical staff of Kauai Medical Clinic and Wilcox Memorial Hospital. From 1994 - 2006 he practiced on the mainland at the Northeast Colorado Family Health Center in Brush, Colorado in Emergency Medicine, ICU and outpatient care. Dr. Cohen returned to Kauai in 2006 and practiced at the Kalaheo Medical Clinic before joining the Kauai Medical Clinic this month.
