Wilcox Health Women’s Center

There is a special place for women at Wilcox Memorial Hospital now, where women can receive services in a beautiful, spa-like setting. Wilcox recently announced the grand opening of their Women’s Center, and it truly is a place for women to feel at home, with warm surroundings and a dedicated staff that is sensitive to a woman’s needs.

Understanding the importance of preventive health care, primary care physicians and specialists encourage regular health screenings to identify risks for health problems, such as breast cancer and osteoporosis, at the earliest and most treatable stage. At the Women’s Center, a team of physicians, technologists and consultants provide many services, including digital mammography, ultrasound, bone density testing with a DEXA unit, fetal diagnostic testing for expectant mothers by visiting specialists from Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, and the High Risk Breast Cancer Program by a specialist from Kapi'olani’s Women’s Center.

Enjoy the spa-like atmosphere of the Women’s Center. The reception area boasts an education nook where you can read up on the latest women’s health topics and peruse our library of resource materials. From the beautiful artwork and comfortable furnishings, to cotton robes and private dressing rooms and lockers, the center is styled and designed with an interior waiting room that assures privacy and comfort. Relax in front of the flat screen television with a glass of cold fruit-infused water with fresh fruit slices. Each guest also receives a fresh long-stem rose after her annual mammogram.
